CLIENTCLIENTCLIENTCLIENT, HElp please :)

I disabled the USB in Active Sync.
I power+photo+reset on my Compact (German from Nowicom).
I have a 128mb formatted SD in it.
I connected my Compact and launched romupdate.exe.
I selected the USB port, but alas, all I get at this point is a window in romupdate that writes CLIENTCLIENTCLIENTCLIENT and on which I cannot write anything.

Can you please tell me what could be wrong?

problem solved.I was not hard resetting the machine properly.

What the guide did not make clear was a successful hard reset means that the welcome note should not be seen and should look like mda is switched off. ho hum
