Change to portrait mode, HELP !!!!

Hey fellas , i have 2 questions for you gurus :D
Well i just recived an imate (qtek2020) and wanted to know if theres a SAFE way upgrading to win 2003 se , and not having problems with it.
And if not today what about the future ?? will thay support this ppc with this new platform ?
My seocnd question is about a feature im looking cause im running the 2003 (old) windows mobile platform which dosn't support it - portrait mode when surfing explorer... is there any apllication that can do this oriantation change to a portrait mode, like in the new WIN 2003 se ??

for first question
,you can flash your device with WM2003Se by changing the operator by two ways-
The first is by change ROM header (use ER2003edit)
The second is by use xda2nbftool see in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=13588
(do it risky your device,keep in your mind)

for second question (did you mean in landscape mode)
some application can make it done e.g. Nyditot virsual display ,see this http://www.nyditot.com/Home.asp
(it's safe but sometime make you hard reset with unknown reason.)

i dont understand why people have to be professors and take a risk when all they want is a simple update which they deserve ??
thats making me very very upset, why they dont suppurt us (holders of imate,qtek2020) with the new Microsoft os in a legitimate update ?
