Has anyone been sucessfull in using a Hands Free System in any Automobile with the PDA2K? If so what is your Bluetooth Stack & is it modified? Is there a Modified Bluetooth Stack out there able to work in a Hands Free System? There must be someone out there who can make the Right Bluetooth Stack for the PDA2K!!!!

I use a parrot CK3000 in my car (I used it with my nokia 6310i before)

It does what it has to do , except for the audio volume setting (I talked to parrot and this will be solved in the next carkit firmware)

I used my 6310i to set the initial volume ;)

Hi,
I have Sonyericssons Bluetooth handsfree HCB-30. It work like a dream. Connects perfect every time. I don't even think about if it have connect to the hands free or not. Work even better with my Qtek 9090 then with my P910.

I use my MDA III with the build in Audi BT handsfree (Cullmann third generation).
I do have problems with the volume control (always jumps back to min) and even worse the connection is lost when I get an incoming call. The ring sound is still coming via the handsfree-speakers, but as soon as I pick up (doesn't matter if via green hardware-button or touchscreen) the MDA III shows the handsfree-symbol on top with a "?" in it and I have to use the MDA III to speak/hear. After I hung up the connection is established again almost immediately (you hear a "pling" sound).
When I make a phone call connection stays up, I can use the handsfree system...
Anyone an idea? What does that question-mark symbol mean?

PEACE AND B WILD!

OK - let me get this straight. This is to those of you who are using a bluetooth headset in your vehicles.

Are you saying that without touching your PDA you are able to press a button on your headset, speak the name of a contact and get connected?

I have been able to do this on every bluetooth phone I have owned, but with my XDA I have to press a button to bring up the voice dial app which then proceeds to try and call a random person in my contacts list.

I asked ONLY FOR HANDS FREE PROFILE, NOT HEADSET PROFILE. With the latest rom upgrade the HFP does not work. Imate PDA2K supports both the Hfp & the Headset Profile.
