Hi all,
I've just bought a shiny (well, black) new XDA IIs, and upon the first turn-on, it decided to hang rather spectacularly whilst installing extra stuff.
It got as far as "writing information for "remove programs"", then decided to just sit there.
A reset later, and all was well. All software appears to be there, and thankfully the O2 active stuff is not installed.
Will this impair my use of the device? It certainly doesn't seem to, and I can make calls, access my Wireless network etc.
Should I hard reset, or would people recommend that I upgrade the ROM?
