Anyone know if this wi-fi card works ok in the magician and if you can use the sockets drivers with it?

It has it's own set of drivers though, it will not work with the Socket or the Sandisk drivers.

Here are the drivers for the Ambicom:

Works great on HTC magician.
But since it is so new on the market, no wardrive program (and i tried them all) is supporting this card so far...

So, msnmessenger, skype, iexplorer ok, but wififofum doesn't work.....

What is the difference with the SanDisk Wifi SD Card ? I'm missing a built in Wifi card in my i-mate JAM. I read the threads about the SanDisk Cards and some users have problems ....

So why the choice for this card ?

Kind regards,

R.

I'm not sure where to get Sandisk or Ambicom Wifi for JAM.

Would appreciate if someone could give some inputs on the pros & cons (power consumption, compatibility, speed, range,...)

what other wifi card brands work well with the mini?
is the mini + wifi card combination cheaper than xda2s?
