If you want an adapter that works and you don't need sync ability try this.
Radio shack has an IGo Adapter with changeable tips.
Select the A29 Tip (listed as blackberry) it has the right usb-mini, 5.3 volts and 700mAh (0.7amps) not too shabby. All this for 29.99 US. I tested it out and It definitely works well. I was a little hesitant to purchase the other chargers that also synch since there have been reports of not charging.
