HELLO? Why on earth would you want to do this right now. Until they get all the LOADS of bugs out of the Widcomm stack why would you want to mess with the mini's perfect MS bluetooth stack.
I would love my mini to have bluetooth headphones but I am not willing to go back to that terrible stack.

because the widcomm stack supports so many different profiles then the MS bluetooth stack

Agreed Walshie. Besides Widcomm having a better variety of profiles, it is more stable that MS......Why do you think the IIs has a Widcomm stack? HTC is just being cheap with the Mini. I have used both and let me tell you, MS is more unstable and less useful with a multitude of BT products.

Agreed
I think the Guest above must have been speaking about the Blue Angle Broadcomm Stack, and I agree that was a piece of crap in the beginning.
Now, as I read and understand, the Blue Angel ROM Upgrade plust the new Broadcom toll makes the BT Stack pretty darn attractive.
One of two things have to happen. Someone has to provide a stable and good procedure for switching out the MS Stack to Broadcom or someone has to come up with a toll for the MS Stack that provides good functionality.

Hello,
I have been browsing this forum for hours now.
I cannot figure it out if it is possible ti replace the bluetooth stack of the i-mate (mini) in order to use the HP bluetooth stereo headset
I just bought this headset and i am not sure anymore if i can use it.
If it is possible (i would be so happy) could someone give us a step by step, with all the files and all the instructions.
It is pretty difficult to get it from all the threads when you are not an expert.
Thanks in advance.
John
