I was wondering if there was a navigation (Map planning) package that would allow me to plan a journey with directions from a saved map. I wouldnt need it to track my status on the journey, simply plan the route and give directions like www.multimap.co.uk

Thanks in advance.

You can use TomTom for this, I use it without GPS connected and it calculates the route, shows the route on a map and gives you directions. Off course Voice warnings don't work, but by clicking an instruction or the arrow, it moves onto the next instruction. Works ok for me. It is the same as planning your route on the Internet and printing the instructions, only now you have them on your device instead of on paper.
