View Full Version : Disconnected headset after mda III on standby ?

Didn't find topics about it in a search on the forum (could have been looking at the wrong keywords though)

When a headset is connected, and the mda3 is put in standby mode (aka turned off, GSM still functioning), i noticed after a while the bluetoothheadset is disconnected.

So with the mda turned off (GSM on), and a calls comes in, it won't be routed to the headset.

Turning the device on makes the bluetoothheadset to reconnect after a while ...

Is there a 'workaround' for this problem so that BT won't be turned off when the device is in GSM-standbymode only ?

Yep. Know that.

Go to: Start -> Settings -> System -> Power -> Advanced
Uncheck the "Turn of the device if not used for......"

Problem solved. :-)

This should not be needed.
I know that I didn't have this problem before. I could put my phone in standby (poweroff) and bluethooth headset would stay connected.

But after I did a rom update. I have this same problem And still haven't found a solution. If anybody knows of a solution please let us know.

Because you should be able to poweroff your phone and still have a bluethooth connection. It used to work so.
