Thumbs down here. If I wanted a brick, I'd simply get a full-side device, not a mini with a hump! PUtting THAT in your pocket will not be fun.
Maybe good if you go on a 3-day hike in the woods with your GPS or something, I guess.
But even than I'd rather have one of those AA-battery extenders/chargers like they have on Ebay for other devices. More reliable

Yeah, just plain ugly.
Why not make a battery of the same size as the standard cell but with higher "density"?

The 1550MaH extended battery by Mugen is out. Same size as standard battery but adds 30% more time .
I got 6 hours use of my o2 mini with this battery, running a DVD movie continuously with bluetooth on and backlight at 100%

It reminds me of those days when I had a Nokia 2110. The standard battery wouldn't last a day thus I bought an extended battery.
It's no good for me because it wouldn't fit in my Seidio GM2500 car kit.
