edit the 2bp icons

I tried to edit the icon /windows/flag.2bp, i did also a software reset but the icon shown is alwais the same? Shouldn load the new icon after a reboot?

the file is in ROM and can not be edited

I edited it via active sync explorer and the changes have been kept also after a soft reset

The new file. Has it replaced the flag.2bp?
u havent got 2 files one flag.bmp and a flag.2bp?

No, I'm sure it is not bmp or .gif, it is .2bp :D
I tried to send it via bluetooth and it showed me the right extension

Have no idea sorry. tried to delete the flag.2bp and wasn't allowed.
can u delete it?
Maybe if u try it BEFORE the UI is loaded..
anyway. to may knowledge it shouldn't be possible but best of luck:)

I can't delete it on the xda but I can do it via activesync on my pc
