Hi just wanting to make a list of compatable headsets for the jam....

i have a platronics m3000 which would cut off after about 3 minutes with the xda2 but on the imate jam it works perfect even when you double tap the call button it calls the last number you dialed

havent had time to try a bluetrek g4 on it yet will have to ask my mate to borrow it 1st

so anyone else had any good findings with the imate jam?

Hello Everybody,

This is my first post on xda-developers. The BT Headset I have is de bluetrek G2 headset. It is very lightweight and has a great standby an talktime. Especially compared with the original Nokia headsets. Compare yourself !

Kind regards ...

I've got SE HBH-600 and the only thing that works is answer button. So when i got incoming call I can answer using only headset. But if I want to call myself I have to take my HANDset and dial (sound is transfered to headset), so I can't even dial previous number with it.

Motorola HS820 works perfectly

Ciao!

Do U have some problems when the headset goes in off mode (I heard this is an option to emprove battery life)...and some phones does not recognize the headset anymore...U have to activate it again. Does the Magician recongize the BT set even after it goes in OFF mode?

Primoz

Nokia HS-11W for about a week now. Works okay. Incoming sound quality is much better than the earpiece. Mixed results on the outgoing sound quality, some better, some worse.

Have U tried the new BT stack in latest ROM...or just the original ROM?...cause I`m intend to buy the Logitech headset PRO BT 1.2...but if U say it isn`t working properly...i won`t

BT800 is INCOMPATIBLE per Jabra website.

I have one and the caller ID does not display. Since the caller ID and capability to return calls from the caller ID is the biggest selling point of the BT800, then to buy it for a phone that won't properly use that function is a waste.

I have newly bought a Jabra BT800 and it works fine - even with display of caller ID and callback of these callers.

My BT800 shows version #: V0021

I have a Sony Ericsson HBH-35 and it does NOT work properly.

It loses connection to the Magician after a couple of minutes. I have upgraded to Radio Version 1.11.00 but to no avail.

Maybe its the very old firmware R1A of the HBH-35, who knows.

Now I am looking for a new headset

Cheers Mundl

Almost return my new BT800 after reading JaysandKays' post.

His comment is not true. I just got BT800 working like a charm with my Magician. I have an O2 mini and running 1.10 WWE. But one of the comments from other users is true, there is a delay when caller ID is working. Otherwise, the headset rings almost the same time as the phone.

My bluetooth headset from ITech works fine, at least for the headset profile since I haven't found any stack that supports A2DP.

You can check the specs here:

I had the same problems with the BT800 and the JAM. I have an I-mate verison with 1.06.00 wwe (maybe thats my prob?) But I kept getting this...

http://members.cox.net/mikelj/bt800error.jpg

It sounded great, the noise filtering was awesome. Especially outside in the wind or in the car. Battery life was good, and the tunes were cool. Virbrating freature was my favorite, while driving I cant hear anything with my radio/bass so this was nice to have.

But took it back cause of the caller id not working. Been using nextlink's AX since. Nice headset also, good battery life. Love the size. Like how it feels better vs the BT800 also. Quailty not as good when in noisy area or outside/in a car with the wind.
