Cant open with Hex to modifty header so it useless

The Extracted file format is neither .bin nor .nb1

Please reupload it or fix the extension

The file don't have any problem!!!

I flash to Chinese ROM success.
But the preformance is slower than ENG rom.
Do you have this feeling ? Anybody.

So which rom is better

Dopod 818
or
XDA Mini

I would have to say the 818 for now. The 818 doesn't have the midlet manager and intellidialer, but it certainly doens' thave things like aftermarket sales... etc on it that waste space ( i don't know if this is a significant amount)
If someone can show the steps to remove O2's customization than I would like the O2 better, because mine's an O2 machine and I don't like it saying dopod, looks cheap

just my 2 cents

You can use cab manager to open any cab file in ext rom. To choose the one that you exactly need before install. I confess that I tried dopod 1.03.06 CHT, dopod 1.03.07 CHS, o2 mini 1.03.06 WWE and o2 mini 1.03.06 CHT. The most stable and smooth is dopod 1.03.07 CHS. The most disappointed is o2 1.03.06 CHT :lol: :lol: :lol:

What's the difference between CHT and CHS? Any major changes among the different versions?

I would like to say if I know how to use mingliu.ac3 (traditional chinese fonts) in dopod CHS 1.03.07, I prefer CHS version than CHT version. I confess that I flashed CHS version and used it for 1 month, everything worked fine except some well-known bugs in all version. Soft reset come out frequently after flashed it to o2 CHT 1.03.06 even software installed are the same.

:lol: after change to the O2 CHT rom for two weeks, only need to softreset one time. I don't think is that too much, but that's not a big problem for me.
And I found that rom fix one major problem for me. Before I use the dopod 818 CHT rom. When use with the wire handfree. The ringtone's sound is very big, but after received the call, the sound will become small and I can't heard from other side even push the vloume to mix. But now this is fix. Now I don't need to unplug the handfree when I listen Mp3 and phone call in.
I don't know is that only my phone had this problem or the O2 rom fix it. But I will keep use this rom.

I found two directories named
1. O2_Mini_HK_Chinese
2. Extended-rom-xdaII-mini
from below links

Is it extended rom only?

How about OS for O2mini?

I need this coz I need to restore English rom before send back for maintenance. I got this with chinese loaded
