Hi,
I just got off the phone today with O2 UK sales and had to pinch myself.....
I asked 3 weeks ago about an upgrade from my 18month old XDA 2 to the new XDA 2s because the new price with tariff was £199.99.
I was told I would have to pay £350 to upgrade!!! WHAT!! Anyway I argued about the new subscriber getting a good deal what about the loyal customer! No luck :(
Today I decided to bite the bullet and start a new contract with the hassle of changing no.s etc..... I rang O2 sales and discovered 2s's were now £179! ‘Bonus’.
Then rang customer services (08706003009) to cancel my existing contract and was told by a nice sounding woman.........
I can have the XDA2s as an upgrade for £199.99 with £100 cash back and a £10 a month reduction in my tariff charges for 3 months……… its awaiting despatch :)
BTW this is online 200 tariff for £30 pm 200 minutes 500 texts 1mb gprs
