XDA 2 screen cracked,help please

I have a XDA II with a crack in the screen (where my son stepped on it) it is totally unusable, I also have an old XDA II screen from another unit now I have tried to change over screens but they have different connections, I will take a photo of both connectors later on tonight, and post here.

I was wondering where you can buy these screens??
or if some one can tell me how to get the older unit to work which is a lost and then found device (NOT STOLEN FROM ANYBODY) does not work when i put the sim in it, is IMEI locked?

they should have identical connections if both units are XDA2. i've replaced a fair few. make sure the old screen isnt from an xda1. the photos would be handy. sounds like you have different devices on your hands. chi mai electric co in china make the 64k screen you're looking for. you can find them on global sources.

I have exactly the same problem (well kind of)

I have a problem with my XDA 2 with the main board...
I've managed to get hold of another XDA2 with a broken screen that i
intended to use the board from with my screen.. but the screen connectors are different!!

Where abouts are you? Perhaps we could do a swap?
(if we both dont have the same wrong connectors on screens/boards
that is!)
