I have a come accross a ROM version of 1.35.00 WWE from New Zealand Telecom for their Harrier hardware.
Is this any use for Blue Angel or is it completely different ?

It's a Blue Angel alright...

However, it's a CDMA device, and you're bound to hose things if you apply it on a GSM/GPRS phone, unless you break it down between ROM, Radio, and Extended ROM. I'm thinking of applying the ROM alone to see if it fixes my text message problem.

Like a moron, I flashed my PDA2K GSM device with the OS portion of the upgrade and it failed to boot after that, locking at the splash screen with a "P DM FAIL" and "R DM FAIL" for the Protocol and Radio portions, respectively.
Of course, looking into NZ Telecom's site, I realized they're CDMA and not GSM, hence the failure to connect with the CDMA radio portion on my GSM/GPRS phone!
I couldn't perform the flash utility again until I searched this site on how to access the bootloader. Power + Reset + Record!
Back to 1.31 WWE from the Arabic build and all is well again. Phew!

But what about replacing the radio file only (radio_.nbf) ?? Shouldn't it work then?

@ BeyondtheTech
How did you flash it, based on the below the fix.bat does not work with given password.

Looks like I totally ignored the password error, so I suppose I installed garbage data right into my PDA2K! Thank goodness for the bootloader.

I used the bootloader by holding down Power + Reset + Record.
Screen showed "USB v2.07."
Then, I ran the proper iMate flash upgrade and all came back to normal.

Removel of battery would have done the same
