Woohoo! I've found someone that has unlocked my XDA2s for me, for £20. Took about ten minutes, worked first time, very pleased now. Unfortunately, they don't want me to publicise their service yet. Not sure why, perhaps they're just finalising something but I'm sure it'll be widely available soon.

I'm just posting to let people know there *is* hope! I'd rather give my £20 to someone that's spent a lot of time developing this tool, than to O2 shatty customer services!

Hate to say it, but I did the same via the other website posted previously and it asks you to run a program that queries the device and outputs some data.

At the end of the script it asks you to send the file to your suppliers website, so it may actually be an official tool that someone has gotten hold of.

Could be wrong and I'll gladly give credit to someone if they have written it themselves.

Yeah I see what you mean, I was obviously using the same site as you. Apparently it will be open to the 'general public' on Monday.
