After my Southwing NeoVoice problems I have exchanged it for the Cardo Scala 500.

http://www.cardowireless.com/scala500/

I have only had it for a day but so far things seem ok.
The sound quality seems excellent, very loud and crisp, but still with some static pops and crackles from time to time.

Pairing and reconnection are a breeze as are all the headset functions like call transfer, pickup, hang up, redial etc.

The headset is very small, light and comfortable with no waggle or slipping.

It is supposed to have 9hrs talktime and a whole week of standby on one 2-3 hour charge. That remains to be seen.

Has any one else tried this headset ?
Any problems to report ?

Any update on how the Scala is doing?

It's doing very well.
I am still using it and it is the best of the headsets I have tried so far.
It's also the cheapest :)

I did a quick review here :

I've tried the HBH-660 briefly and on first impression the sound quality is certainly no better than any of the others. I haven't had it long enought to test the general reliability and connectivity of it yet thought.
