Startup programs

Hi,

I've searched the forum and seen a few of the same questions, but no answers.

Can anyone tell me what the following startup programs are please:

RegNotify.exe (Something to with MMS?)
RemoteNotify.lnk (Points to Action Lock directory - Orange UK thing?)
Camera_Detect.lnk (Points to Camera_Detect.exe)
CheckAutoRun.lnk (Points to CheckAutoRun.exe)
ChgDfLnk.lnk (Points to PreSetUSB.exe)
poutlook.lnk (Something to do with Pocket Outlook?)

And I think the following are permanent storage or something (Does anyone actually use this?)

cPerSaveStar.lnk
nPerSaveStar.lnk
tPerSaveStar.lnk
aPerSaveStar.lnk

But you see, I've moved them all out of startup and the PDA works just fine... and heck of a lot faster. But I'd like to know what they actually do. They were there for a reason!
