Hi!
I bought a HBH-300 for my PDA2k.
I tried the day it arrived, it worked, I was happy with my luck, and did not use for a few days...
When I picked it up again this week-end something strange happened... I can discover and pair the headset, but once the pairing process is over... I can't connect to the headset... I tried several times... I have soft reset... nothing!
The headset works well, I have tried it with a Z1010.
I am using BT version 1.0.0 Build 3500. I have updated to iMate latest ROM but I am afraid that by using Sprite-back option for upgrade I kept an older ROM...
I've WiFi in the house.
What is my problem? How can i fix it?

Have you tried reseting the pairing on the headset by holding down the volume up and volume down for 5 seconds.
Are you running Voice Command 1.5, I have seen other apps interfere with headeset behavior and it is random.
You may have to hard reset to get to the bottom of the problem.

Yes, several time... no news...

No...

Ok, I imagined it... Before I do it: am I using the right bluetooth stack?
Thanks,
Chris

You could try applying the patch for 3500 or upgrading to 3900.
Patch :
ftp://xda:xda@xda-developers.com/BlueAngel/CAB_Files/Bluetooth%20Upgrades/BroadcomCorp_BTUpdatefor1.0.0.3500.cab
Upgrade :
ftp://xda:xda@xda-developers.com/BlueAngel/CAB_Files/Bluetooth%20Upgrades/BroadcomCorp_BT1.0.0.3900.cab
If that doesn't work you can always downgrade back to 3500 :
ftp://xda:xda@xda-developers.com/BlueAngel/CAB_Files/Bluetooth%20Upgrades/BroadcomCorp_BT1.0.0.3500.cab

Thanks!!!
I would try to path, upgrade...
Just a quick question:
-How to patch?
-How to upgrade?
I am familiar with Cab files installations for programs... not with this BT things...
Do I have to unistall the current version? To unlock the phone? To hardreset?
Thanks,
Chris

No. None of the above.
All you are doing is installing new version of the BT Stack.
1) get the cab file
2) copy it to your pocketpc
3) on the ppc open file explorer and click on the cab file to install it
4) soft reset
5) on Today Screen click opn BTTray Icon and select settings
6) click on about tab
7) click on Advanced button
This tells you the version of all the BT modules you are running.
Same process for install, patch, upgrade, downgrade etc etc

In case anyone is wondering this update to 3900 does not clear the noise issue with the Jabra 250 Headset.

It worked after the downgrade...

I have downgraded back to 3500 on the bluetooth stack and the Jabra 250 still gets an awful lot of noise unless you hold the m2000 just about next 2 it. A little bit of a waste of time.
But i have noticed if the pda is to the side of the Jabra the noise level drops.
