Problem touch screen

Since yesterday i meet a new problem with my XDA2s.
I can't use my touch screen with my pointer pencil. It is not reacting. If i use my finger it is working but with oencil no. After hard restart it is working but after restoring data it is working 5 minutes and ist stoping again. Is it virus or??
Help
And I relise that it is workink only with some wide tip of pencil if it is sharp it is not working. But screen is working after hard reset.
Any sugestion what to do?

Mahatma, try another hard reset, after full backup, then use the phone without restoring your data, see if the problem occurs, if it doesnt occur then you can be reasonably sure that it is a software problem.
