Overcoming the country code and operator ID barrier to upgrading the BA used to be so easy with xda3nbftool. But this new added encryption to the upgrades has rendered the tool obsolete. It looks like the new encryption is well understood and can be overcome, as per posts by Mamaich and others.
Is anyone at work on updating xda3nbftool with the new decryption algorithm to enable it to work again? Would solve a lot of posts on this forum. I simply don't have the tools or the skills to do so, otherwise I would... I'm happy to help in some other way if possible...
