We have 3 Jams configured identically. One can synch over GPRS with our Exchange Server. the other 2 cannot.
the only difference I can identify is that the unit that can sync on GPRS has ExtROM version 103.140 WWE wereas the units that cannot have a different ExtROM version, 103.163 WWE. the units that cannot synch over GPRS can sync fine when cradled or over local WiFi (ie when Exchange Server is local to the network.) the ROM version is the same for all: 1.03.00WWE.
I have searched net forums includiong the ones on this site, Club i-Mate and spent many hours trying. (I have configure many a PDA before). Before I return the units to Expansys (and probably go for XDA II mini from O2)- has anyone experienced or solved this problem?
Is it possible/asdivable to downgrade to ExtROM version 103.140? and where does one find the file? Any help would be very much appreciated.
