you need to use the http://www.ce4you.cz/forums/download_file.asp?f=1759&d=/files/forums/cz/0000053752/MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe

you stick this in the same folder as you extract the ROM

you click once, your S100 will go on Cold Boot mode, then you got an error.

You click again on MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe and you are set

let us know if you get it OK

It works well with your Dangaard Rom but not with the Qtek Rom mentionned in this post... Perhaps my file is corrupted...

I have been converted these files to old format that xda3nbftool can accept.

You can change operator and country id with xda3nbftool.

If it work well with the Dangaard ROM then don't bother, stick with the Dangaard one

I've just bought my S100 french and I'd like to update. But I never did it before. :oops: Can someone tell me how to do it and if it's difficult. I'm in Belbium (Brussels) and I speak french. It can be done by phone if it's easyer for you.

there is 2 main things,

1- you have a reel S100 QTEK you buy this in Belgium or France
then you just download the update you click you wait and you are set
(go to FTP on XDA) and you will see Magician folder.

But if I was you if your QTEK come from Belgium and still under waranty I won't bother and I will go to the dealer and have it update for you.
It's easy, hard to failed, but hey you never know

2- you have a S100 from Germany (or whatever country else) then you need to DL the link above and same things you click you wait and you are set.

It's like installing a program. When you start you have to wait, don't disconnect or so, anyhow you will see warning on the sreen, telling you what to do or not to do

Look what I see on XDA FTP (in the folder Magician/..........)

@mamac: make sure you do a backup first. make sure you connect your device via the supplied cable directly to your PC (don't use USB hubs or stuff like that), remove the cards from the SD slot. follow instructions and be patient and everything will be fine :D

I upgraded my S100 yesterday since then the touch screen does not work properly anymore. Does anybody know waht happened? I can not use the touch screen anymore... :?
After the upgrade it is ok. It's only after I do the backup to restore my programm that it won't work anymore.

What are the benefits of ROM v 1.06.02?...any emprovements from version 1.06 (qtek, I-mate,...)...

I have a French Qtek S100, which I have essentially left untouched, and I get the following error message when I try to upgrade to this new ROM version: "ERREUR 123 : ERREUR DE CHECKSUM DU FICHIER IMAGE RADIO"

That is to say, checksum error regarding radio image file.

I would be grateful for any advice...

I disabled the antivirus, and others programs on my PC. But always the same message. I also displaced the files in other main folder...
I don't understand. was the files modified between your downloading and mine ?
