I know it doesn't make sense, but... SD GPS and JAM problem

Does any1 tried to use the sd-501 SD GPS with i-mate JAM?
(now you can write that there's no nevigation system that can work
without SD card, in the JAM...)

I've tried to install the driver from CD, the 1 bit and the 4 bit versions from the web site, but I just couldn't "talk" with the GPS.
It work for himself (LED blinks, as it found satellites),
but softwares like GPS monitor doesn't work.

Sorry, the only thing I can do at them moment is to confirm that I have the exactly same problem. I know of one person who says he got it working and I am trying to get answers from him.
