I came across this booth in the mall, it was buncha jap guys skinning mobile phones and pdas using heat sensitive vinyl/plastic. Basically any design, you just pick the degree of transparency and place, and they'll print it out and use a blow dryer to apply it. The neat thing is he showed me that anytime i don't want it, just gently use blow dryer and off it comes - without any residue.
The pics below are w/ the brando white silicone case, and mr. pillsbury doughboy lol. I skinned it black in case you were thinking that it was the dark silicone case.

well if you look up the post "skinning the jam" on pocketpcthoughts, a person there's doign it w/ a special type of vinyl. it's something i like to try because the vinyl he's using is non reflective, therefore it looks very oem imo. He's not done perfecting it tho, and the shops he mentions are local in his country. I'd start by asking design shops around your town and the materials they use. You have to get a template and use a blowdryer to lightly heat the plastic up then apply. As well, remember to ask if the material leaves residue, because if you screw up or change your mind you don't want gunk left on our phones=)
