Checksum is not correct! HELP!!!

Kindly help me. cooked a ROM from stefan's kitchen, wrote to sd card using XDATools and downloaded to my XDA. It says:
Download completed
Checksum is not correct!
COLD BOOT TO RESET

But nothing happens. done it to 2 different PC's, used 2 different SD cards and still I get the same results. Pls. help.

does anybody have any solution to my problem? is my xda unit dead and no chance to revive it? kindly help me please. i have tried the solutions given here but to no avail.
