View Full Version : How do I fix a "checksum is not correct" problem?

Q: What is a checksum?

Q: Is it related to a failing battery?

I have used both XDAtools and XDArit to write my SD card and have tried several
ROMs from stefan's kitchen. but after downloading it would tell me that the checksum is not correct. Kindly help.

Solved the problem myself!

I looked for someone who has an xda1, asked if he could backup a copy of his OS installed in his xda. Got him to answer yes, and gave him my SD card for him to backup. Placed SD card in my xda, installed OS, cold reboot, and it works fine. Thanks to all.
