MS Reader for O2 Mini/ I-mate Jam

Hi All,

Does anyone have MS Reader installed in their devices? My Mini didn't come with a Reader, so went and installed the latest version of Reader from the Microsoft site. But doesn't work properly. It doesn't appear properly in the Programs folder and when I click on it all I get is an error message.

Please help! Need to carry e-Books in my Mini.

Hi bree. I installed ms reader on my mini and it's working fine. I also downloaded it from msn. Maybe you should uninstall it, re-download the installer and try installing it again. HTH.

By any chance did you install it in the Card rather than main memory??

if so browse to the Reader folder in the Sd card and create a new shortcut. Then move this shortcut to the windows\start menu folder.

after this remember to move all the font files from the reader folder into the windows\fonts folder (or redirect the folder to another folder in sd card)

it should work... mine is!

I too had the same problem as Bree coz i had installed Reader to the Storage Card. But did the same things as said by ill-tempered and it worked fine from then on :)

Illtempered were you able to activate your MSReader after redoing the shortcut and moving the fonts. I redid the shortcut but did not move the fonts so i was wondering if i need to maybe move the fonts to activate. Thanks.

I had activated my old 2002 device and lost the activation file too... but anway

Same here. I too cannot activate MS Reader.

I tried to , from my PC after connecting my mini to it. But is said, device not found :(.

What if you place the Dll files in the reader directory back into windows??

sorry but I wont be doing this as I don't really need to activate it...
