Installed Mamiche final with media player 10 and.....

Dear All:

i used the mamiche final update that was posted on the thread, the one with media player 10.
the thing is i was using the original arabic version from I-mate PDA2K which was:
ROM version: 1.31.00 WWE
ROM date: 12/13/04
Radio version: 1.06.00
Protocol version: 1337.38
ExtROM version: 1.31.112 WWE

after i installed the mamiche final.rar i got the media player 10...etc "BUT" i already installed some of the cab files like the new photo contacts before the upgrade so after installing the mamiche final on my PDA2K, i installed the patches again"cab Files available on the BA update" , the only file that cannot be updated is the new photo contacts it says: "the file "\windows\IA_P_DspCID.dll" is in use or is in ROM. if the file is not in ROM, please close the application using the file"

i tried evertything still can't install., i need to assign tones

now there are some bugs that i donnu how to fix which are:
1) double GPRS icon
2) i still get the old device information in the "device info icon"
3) the contacts seem not to open every time, and some times just hang.


please advise on what to do, and how install the latest program updates on my PDA2K
(this is NOT the siemens ROM, it's the other one)

You should be able to rename the the file.

So open file explorer and go to the /windows/ folder. Their you should be able to find the file, tap and hold on the the file, you should get an option to rename the file, rename the file by adding a .old to the name.

quit the cab installer program and then re-run the the cab file, you will get this error on a number of files, just locate the file and add .old to each new file. Exit the cab installer and re-run it till it completes.
