How to Backup the original ROM? and How to recover it?

Using ROMUPDATE tools (mtty) we can backup the original ROM from the HTC PPC phone edition (like O2,T-Mobile,XDA,dopod,MDC,etc). But we knew also, we can't recovery the RADIO version by using the ROM. so, How to backup the ROM and how to recovery it to ORIGINAL? Method? Thanks!

The method is the same except you have to press Power + Camera + Soft Reset to go to Bootloader mode.
