P900/P910 headset on MDA Compact?

does anyone know if the headset of the P900 works on the MDA Compact?
not just the music, but also the microphone and answer-button

I just bought a P910 headset from a guy on eBay (in fact I bought two, the first set turned out to be fake!) and the sound quality is MUCH better than the standard headset. It also fits better in the ears. I must admit that I haven't actually tried the microphone and button yet, I just assumed it would work. I'll try it later and try and remember to post another reply :D
