XDA IIi and XDA II connection question

Just a quick question - if I buy one of these Sync/Charge USB cables for my XDA II, could I use it with my XDA IIi ?

Funny thing this: I bought a screen protector from another hongkong bloke, he sent me 'displex' instead! its a gel for covering up scratches, and he said he will send on the protector for free... his mistake, but now I have a tube of stuff for covering up the scratches on my 6600, all the key marks gone!
