One question

Hello!

Is it safe to send a picture of my passport to www.imei-check.com. I must do it to get my phone unlocked. Can it get in wrong hands?

Maybe a stupid question but I am just wondering. :oops:

The way I see it is that they have changed the set up.

A month or 2 ago you could unlock your device without a picture, now you need one.

The reason is due to the fact that the chances that a device needs to be unlocked are higher if that device was stohlen. So by asking for a ID they can match the IMEI with a owner just incase.

So I would feel happy I owned that device and needed to send them a photo ID.

I don't think its in the intrest of www.imei-check.com to be careless with that type of personal info nor am I aware if its legal or not.
