Upgrading to 1.11 and restoring from backup . . [Archive]

I flashed my MDA Compact with the Qtek 1.11 software mentioned on this site. The upgrade went very well, and afterwards I did a full restore from a Sprite backup I did before the upgrade.

I have all my previous functionality & settings and device information tells me I have:

ROM Version 1.11.00 WWE
ROM Date: 03/14/05
Radio Version: 1.11.00
Protocol Version: 1337.42
ExtROM version: 1.01.128 WWE

Has restoring my backup negated anything in the ROM upgrade?

Everything works correctly . . .

Well, I must be something of a pioneer! I take it no-one has upgraded the firmware and then restored from a backup? No-one has any idea whatsoever if the backup will overwrite anything from the new ROM image? . . . and I know there are a lot of very clever people on this forum ;-)

Well, my MDA Compact is still working fine, no problems whatsoever to report.

Where did you get the ROM from & what instructions did you follow.
Please help as I've looking for this for a while now!

flashed mine with Qtek 1.11 and restore fm Sprite backup..so far so good..no problems encountered..
