Well it says it supports standard serial profile so I would say yes, obviously no guarantees though.

I never bought from e-bay, is there a return policy due to incompatibility (sorry if this is a stupid question)?

That would have to be between you and the seller you bought from and thier return policy, if they have one. But do what I do, just ask before you bid or buy. Most of the sellers are good about answering any qusetions about thier auctioned products. I hope this helps.
