i tried to upgrade my xda2i with the upgrade tool 1.60b, but everytime it says that i need to download the correct rom in my ppc. can anyone help me out here?

guys am waiting eagerly to update my xda2i to windows mobile 2005, magneto. am looking at my friends, with other devices updating to this os, but am lagging behind.
is there any rom for my xda2i to get it updated to wm2005 please???????

Sorry but there is no WM2005 for the XDAIIi. It has completely different hardware. At the moment there is a rom upgrade to WM2005 for the himalaya (XDAII) and the blue angel (XDAIIs) only. Both can be found on Buzz Lightyear's development web site www.buzzdev.net.

is there any possibility to see WM2005 in my i-mate jam??
It has 64MB RAM/ROM
is that enough for WM2005 if i assume that it can be installed in jam??

I hope xda2jojo and the rest of the guys can make an executable file to upgrade the Himalaya to WM2005, like the one they did for the WM2003SE upgrade. This would help the inexperienced people like me in upgrading a Himalaya. thank you very much!

and i lost my usb cradle in my backpack......can i update with my sd/mmc card reader...? it seems awfully honest but i am new to this and we should have a thread for extreeeeeme beginners....
