Upgrading Orang M1000 (Qtek 2020) to WM 5 ->Country ID er

Hey Guys,

Wanting to upgrade my m1000 with Windows Mobile 5.
Have currently WM2003SE running, but how can I get this to install without getting the Error 120 Country ID ERROR message?

Did it as describide by xda2jojo@wiki but neverless I still get the country ID error....

Can it be solved by upgrading with a SD card?

I got a Country ID error when I was upgrading to 2003SE; I retried the upgrade after I got the country id error and I didn't receive it anymore.

As I'm typing I'm upgrading to WM2005; haven't got a country id error anymore. However, I'm using the himaupgradeut_noid.. Maybe you should try it with that upgrade tool. It's on the FTP

Yes, after using the himaupgradeut_noid.exe, it all went ok.
Still have some small problems (synchronisation and lak of memory) but it is nice to play around. Shame that TomTom is still not working.....
