How can I get inside the XDA II?

I am having problems with the sound coming from my XDA II speaker. I have read some of the threads on this forum site which have helped me to realise that I have a problem with the wire connections to the speaker.

I have taken the battery out and removed the visible screws from the back of the XDA which went well, but cannot lever the top section away without the fear of snapping the back in two.

I just want to gain access to the speaker wires, to see if the problem can be fixed.

Any help or advise would be appreciated.

Be careful, the device is sealed. So if you open it you have no guarantee anymore.
Go to the shop is the best option i think :wink:

Thanks for the advise, but my XDA is no longer under any guarantee anf my screw driver has already ventured through the security void seal which covered one of the screws.

I am now as they say "committed".
