I almost want to switch to Sony Ericsson due to the primitive functionalities in other "phone profile" softwares. Thx for your effort, this is a must have utility for PDA phones.

Would it be possible to include more actions in the next release? For example, forward rejected calls to another number.

with call blocker , we can blacklist a group of contact , this option , i can't found it anywhere ! with smartfilter the best one ( Now because after few days i will try your soft best than smartfilter ) we must cross contact per contact for blacklist !! not easy when we have 200 or 300 contact !

I find your program to be extremely useful... however, I think it could be even better. For instance...

2005? Give it up.. MS switched Contacts, Calendar and Category databases.. 2005 by it self is great BUT all the third party software that uses these databases or that may have issues with its memory layout, will need to be re written..
You see, MS makes money every time a programmer has to buy their new Programing Program. They like upgrades and updates.. It makes them more $$$$

I get a lot of unwanted calls which I can block with some software. But I can't block their unwanted SMS. Some days I get 50 of such sms. That drives me crazy :evil: That's way I need a SMS blocker

Use Cabinstl, that app lets you chose a path to install the cab file in, for instance your storage card, storage etc. search for it on this forum or with google, it is freeware.

hi, i installed ur software.... but 1st didnt function at all.... i also made sure that i add it to the exceptions of SPB pocket Plus close button... i made it load auto on soft reset ... and all .... BUT IT DIDNT WORK!

Rather, bluetoooth headset profile used to get activated everytime someone called and so thephone never used to ring! So i uninstalled and everything was back 2 normal... and for uninstalling i had to 1st stop it from loading after soft reset... soft reset and then it was finally installed!

if you use spb pocket plus or other software to close program this is normal. sbp pocket plus KILL the programs and no close right so Call SMS Blocker, if killed, can't clean up the memory and restart cprog.
So if you use SBP PP add Call SMS Blocker in the exception list for 'close button' :wink:

In order to give it a trial, i simply created a list of only 1 number, choose "reject from list", enable call filter as hang up, enable sms filter as Move to Waste Basket.

When i send SMS from a number in reject list, then my phone still receive the SMS. It is displayed in Inbox.

when i select operating mode : accept from list

from the list , i can add ONLY 2 groups ! no more

and ONLY 10 contact per group

the other problem is , the contact who added to the first group the call was not rejected , BUT the calls from the second group was rejected !

if you select 'accept from list' and create two lists with more than 10 numbers the program will handle only the first 10 of the active lists.

The number must not be in the my contacts.

The program crashes when I select "Accept only from contacts" though.

i was observing all the post.. and many must have had to restore their xda's or uninstall and stuff including me after installing the software... with that incentive i think u'll get even more dedicated resonses and those who are trying it out will relish doing so!!!

initially i would like sell my software but after i see that the people appreciate my efforts and so i decide for "Donation" system but after a few months and software i never get any donation!?
so i decided to make a free version for all and a pro version to sell for users that have really need of my software

2. tap&hold on the list and click 'Modify';
3. insert numbers manually or pickup from contacts' list;

Have you thought of assigning a password to blocked folder under inbox. Because sometime, we received a sms, we don't want other people see and read them, just only us can do.

And if possible, give CSB the power to move blocked folder to storage card too :)

That is in other words I must launch CSB prior to having any SMS sent or received or even opening the Messaging application (tapping and opening "No unread messages").

I deleted/ommited "0" in the prefix of phone number in the Lists ...! and now It Works .......! from Reject from List Operating Mode, both in Call Blocker and in SMS Blocker !

Your app can run on WM2005, can reject blacklist automatically, but when I reject a call using the red button the missed call can not write into the log.
When I have a call, my phone rings and stop after that it rings as normal.
Could u pls repair errors.

im currently using csb 0.44. i have pocketzenphone 5.2, mortring 0.93, and photo contacts 1.1 installed (i figured my problem might do something with either of these). i cant get the call filter to work but the sms filter works just fine. the format of the number in my contact list is +63 (920) 1234567. whenever i receive a call, the format is 09201234567. also, whenever csb is enabled, i loose the sound on my phone whenever i received a blocked sms.

and compare it with the number in list: 639201234567

so try to remove +63 from contact list :wink:

I would like to see an alowed list by area code.

Only area codes and then any combination of numbers.

Here in the USA, they have junk fax servers using spoofed caller ID from places like http://camophone.com/ or just by falsely programing a phone system and they "hunt" for new vitims 24\7. I have been woken up by these jerks time and time again.

If I could set your program to only alow calls from "trusted" area codes, I could sleep better.

i did some testing with the new version and here's my findings...

on my phonebook, numbers are stored as +63 (920) 9876543...

if i add the numbers from my phonebook to csm, they will be stored as +63 (920) 9876543 as well...

using that number format, i dont encounter any problem with sms... the messages are blocked/moved... however, i still receive incoming calls...

now, what i did was change the number from +63 (920) 9876543 to 09209876543... problem solved! sms are blocked/moved and calls are blocked/muted...

however, this is just a workaround... it's easy if you only have a few numbers on your white/black list... problem arises if you have many white/black lists and many numbers...

not related to the tests, i was wondering if you could add a couple more features to csm, features similar to advanced call manager... i used to have this application in my p910... the features im looking for are the abilities to reply via sms (for blocked sms and calls) and forward sms to another number... i know the software is still in beta so u can probably add that in the future... :)

The database is different in wm2005, and contacts are stored in a different way, making all pim software to screw up when trying to read contacts...please tell me its compatible!!!! :)

I've tried to install CSB V5.3, its not suitable with my xda IIs have been upgraded to ROM Version 1.40.00 wwe, actually it's not suitable to with the last version of ROM, is there somebody can help me.

I can't make CSB working on my device. I tried everything.
Fist of all use all instructions. ;) I soft-reseted PDA after installation. I made a block list like it had been said in instructions. Ad CSB to expentions list in SPB+ 3.0. But the most sucsess was that it blocked a call for the fist time after restart. All other calls were recieved. I tried to change number format. I recieve it in +70951234567. In my contacts it had been saved like +7 0951234567 (if I use function "save to contacts" from calls list). I tried to erase "+". Tried to erase "space". Tried to remove whole +7095. But all this changes didn't help.
I see that lots of people here use this perfect soft, but I can't understand what is wrong with my divece or my hands?
May be CSB has problems with other progs on my device like MortRings, SPB+ 3 or Contact button?

Before it I try SmartFilter and it worked most times good but it has no most abilities of CSB.

I had the problem that I couldn't see the missed calls anymore on the screen and neither in the logfile!
The problem was due to the CriSoft SMS Call Blocker program I installed.
Problem is solved by de-installing Crisoft.

on 0.58 there was a problem on beta time....please reinstall 0.59 version ;)

than you crino for your good program... it's very nice...but i have a little problem with my qtek 9100 unit.
when i use call sms blocker and i receive a call, my phone rings 1 time and then stops refusing the call as i have decided with call blocker.
is it possible to let call blocker refuse the call without any ring?

Hi all,

After installing CSB 1.4.4.232, I saw one problem that I think it is very imporlite for caller. Problem is: I add a number into blacklist. When that number call me, he hear a bit of sound, such as a haft of a ring, and then continous hang-up sound. I think it's better if caller only hear hang-up sound. Could anyone sovle that bug to make the app perfecter.
