XDA II doesn't connect with AS 4.0

Hi there,

after updating from AS3.8 to version 4.0, AS doesn't connect anymore. I uninstalled and re-installed several times as well w/o any success. Any help would be appriciated.

try removing the old parthership in application data in documents and settings prob under ms activesync

Try to install the latest oficial release of Activesync 4.0 (Build 4343) then with the PPC on the cradle and the PC within Windows, swap your cradle's USB cable to some other port on your PC. It will go through the "new device" detection process again and it should work this time. At least it worked for me...

Strange enough... after this has been a problem for about three days and I tried a lot including several reboots of my PC or soft resets of my XDA II, it just connected while I had the device sitting in the cradle for charging... so, I cannot say why it works now, but most important it does :D
