TOMTOM3 GPS connection

I have set it all up and its all on etc etc.

But when i connect the bluetooth to the gps device it links but says that my gps is disabled and i cant get it to enable. It used to work on my ipaq so I cant understand why it wont enable on here? After a while of nothing happening the bluetooth cuts out. Does anyone have any good ideas as to what might be the problem?

When you bonded the gps did you get the message about serial port profile, if you answer yes to this it will probably use either com 5 or com 6, what settings do you have in tomtom?
