I have tried to upgraded to WM2003SE, however the upgraded stop with an error saying that there is an connection error. Ever since my SPV is dead. Any remedy?

no frets mate. simply remove the xda from the cradle and do a hard reset. the screen should either be blank or show the same bootloader mode. from there put the unit back on the cradle; you're not supposed to hear or see anything which will indicate activesync is working. once cradled; just click on the upgrade command on your pc. it should start all over again. same thing happened to me before but after a reset the upgrade went through. just keep on reseting the device if it's stuck on bootloader.

Just press the "Power" + "Soft Reset" + "The center of directinal pad" then reflash!

Thanks for the help. Problem is solved. Just wondering whether I could damage the device by flashing it with different ROM? Would I get to a stage that I can no longer recover the device?
