Buttons messed-up Help required

My XDAIIs has messed up all of the button assignments. I can now no longer pick-up or hang-up the phone. These buttons are bringing up the calendar and contacts and there does not seem to be an option to re-assign these functions.

I have hard reset and it has not helped.

Please help!!

i haven't got my phone on me, but if you go start->stettings->system->buttons you should be able to change it there, if not have a look in settings and you will soon find it
