View Full Version : Bluetooth firmware upgrade V1.2 ??

i bought a Jabra Bt-800 but found it require V1.2 BT firmware. My XdaII of coz do not support. Any suggestion here to help me upgrade the firmware? tks.

You would have to flash your XDA with a newer ROM to get the BT800 working, I know WM2003SE 2.20 works fine, and WM2005 works fine, and I have heard rumours WM2003SE 2.06 works also, but these are not official O2 updates, and if you needed support from O2 you would have to downgrade your device to the O2 ROM again.
All of the ROMs here have pros and cons, and it really is a personal preference as to which one will suit your needs the best.
I personally think the Diamond 1.2 ROM and the WM2003SE2.20WWE ROMs are the best, unless you are feeling adventerous and you want to try WM2005 (I love it, but no GPS software working on it is making me want to flash back to 2.20).

You cannot change the BT version by simply upgrade the ROM. Xda II uses BT v 1.1 and you can't change that bcos its simply a hardware matter, not software.. Which means u hav to replace the BT stick inside ur Xda II (I think that's impossible, the only way is through the SDIO)
