I've found that when using media player the phone will frequently 'freeze', this problems also effects the unit when transferring media files from my PC!
The only solution I've found is to put the phone into flight mode when listening to music, however this makes the unit fairly pointless!
I also encounter issues when using the phone at specific geographic points (at the top of my drive is one) the unit will freeze, this appears to be caused by local Wi-fi/Bluetooth broadcasts.
I have read other remarks about units freezing but none seem related to these specific issues, is it just my unit?

I've had the usual help from O2 Technical, soft reset then hard reset the device but to no avail.
