Blue Angel/Magician CAB Compatibility???

Hey Guys

I have a question about CABs

I have the T-Mobile MDA III (Blue Angel) and my girl has the T-Mobile MDA Compact (Magician)

I was wondering if I can take the T-Mobile specific CAB's from the Magician (Which are more up to date than the Blue Angel ones) and drop them inn the extended ROM on the Blue Angel??

Or are the Operator CAB's device specific??

I am guessing/hoping that the CABs are operating system specific and not device specific, So I could be wrong...
