Well, I've been using Mobipocket's e-book reader for almost half a year now - everything has been fine. Until now.

All of a sudden I can't launch Mobipocket. When I launch it displays the tittle up in the menubar so I can clearly see that it starts opening and then everything dissapears.

I'v tried to uninstall, softreset, manually delete the mobipocket folder and install it again - but no difference. Even tried to clean up the registry and remove everything that has to do with mobipocket. But no success....
And I haven't been installing anything new at alll that could have conflicted. Not a single thing. I just stopped working :(
:(

I was in the middle of an exciting book. Need it to work. And to do a hardreset och ROM-update is not preferred...

Have seen that there is more ppl that has encountered this problem.

I've not seem anything like that. Only that it seems to get slower, the more sored books. I've got nearly 100, most on the SD card. If I take the card out, it runs much faster.
What happens if you use File Explorer and tap on the ebook?

Well, if using the fileexplorer it seems to launch Mobipocket, but then crashes before I've even seen the book.

And it just started to do this all of a sudden. At the Mobipocket-forums I've seen two other users that have experienced the same - and no solution known there ocr any advice given from the support at Mobipocket :(

I've been using Mobipocket for several years, althoug only 5 months with a PPC device, previously I had it installed on a Sony P800. I didn't have any problems with my P800, but I have had problems on my PC with the PPC version. I tried to uninstall it and it wouldn't work. So I uninstalled the PPC version from my Jam, then manually deleted everything I could find on my PC and ran the program "registry mechanic" which found 7 or 8 more entries. Then I went to regedit and did a search for mobipocket and found 12 more entries.....finally I was able to do a clean install. That program has a nasty disposition! I do like it though and continue to use it.
