Newbie question

I will be buying an XDA 2 of my friend 2moro and
I would like to know if I can use an O2 Pay as you
go genie sim (genie is the sim where you get free txt msgs etc)

Can i just pop the sim straight in and use it or will I have to unlock it??

I'm sure you can...

As long as the SIM is GSM and the phone is unlocked you can use any GSM SIM Card...

In this case, since it's going to be from O2 there would be no problem.
