Does anyone know how to make Media Player's Media Library default to the storage card rather than 'My Device'? I had it working and I am pretty sure I changed a registry setting to do it but I did a hard reset yesterday and cant find the setting anymore. It's driving me nuts, I know it should be there somewhere but its not!
Could someone have a look in their registry under:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer
And see if there is a setting somewhere called 'defaultLocation' or something like that. I remember I changed it from a 0 to a 1 to get it to default to the Card.
Cheers.

So, has nobody got a registry editor installed then? Anybody?

Cheers for the reply!
Anyone else had a look?
It was definitely there before I did a hard reset. I've got a UK T-Mobile MDA Compact and before the hard reset it had the standard setup. After the reset I cancelled all the ext-rom stuff. Dont know if this helps anyone at all...

Found it!!!
For those that are interested, if you want the media player library to default to the Storage Card change the following registry setting from a 0 to a 1:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\P references\LastLibraryIndex

Great, I didn't have the key on mine but added it and worked well, now i don't have to go through that lousy step anymore!

for reddall and others, who wud wana do it properly...
if you dont see the key LastLibraryIndex jus create it in the said path
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\P references
most importantly the value type shud be REG_DWORD and value 1 in decimal
voila! ur wmp will open in storage card or ur last used location

Just got an Omnia, and interestingly it is defaulted to My Storage with that regkey, however as I want to use my MicroSD for music etc, set the value to 2
